A truck carrying APC branded bags of rice in Ekiti state, crushed over 20 persons to death last night Saturday, January 12th. According to reports, the truck was transporting the branded rice from Abuja, and was en route the Ifaki-Iworoko road in Ado Ekiti, when the accident occurred. The trailer caused multiple accidents on Iworoko road, as it also affected an 18-seater Toyota bus and a Toyota Corrolla car, thereby causing heavy traffic. Eyewitnesses say the driver of the truck lost control of the wheels and rammed into the market which was close to the road in Iworoko. Many traders, who were still selling at night, were affected. Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Caleb Ikechukwu, said "The accident actually happened at Iworoko road in Ado Ekiti just this evening and I heard that there were causalities, but I cannot give figures. Tuface Idibia broke down in tears at an event yesterday when his wife Annie Idibia and his baby mama Pero Adeniyi made peace after years of animosity. Tuface dated Annie Macauley Idibia, Pero Adeniyi, and Sunmbo Ajaba Adeoye and had kids with all three of them within the same period. Years later, he married Annie. An 18-year-old boy has been arrested by police in Edo state after he allegedly killed his mother then had sex with her corpse for ritual purposes. Samuel Emobor Oghenekporboro allegedly killed his 58-year-old mother, identified as Mrs Christiana Ighoyivwi, by strangling her until she passed out at their residence at 8B, Market road, Ologbo Community along Benin- Sapele road in Ikpoba-Okha local government area, Edo state. The suspect was paraded before newsmen on Wednesday, alongside other criminals, in Benin. The young man confessed to strangling his mother at 5 a.m. on October 10. He told journalists that he carried out the act after consulting a spiritualist who promised to make him rich. The spiritualist allegedly promised that money would fall from heaven as he makes love to his mother’s corpse. A terrible accident at Abakaliki Road, Ebonyi state yesterday, Friday, November 2nd, 2018. has led to the death of 3 Madonna University students. The accident according to reports happened after two buses collided, the buses got burnt to ashes, roasting three of the students alive. The students were said to be on their way to school from Jalingo when the incident occurred. The deceased are namely: Kerry Oliver a 200 level, Christabel and Rita they were all 200 level students.
